Working in the Field

The field….one of my favorite places to be!
I have had the opportunity to travel around Colombia and some other parts of South America collecting butterflies but also learning about other taxonomic groups such as birds and dragonflies. In addition, I have had the opportunity to travel with many important researchers and butterfly enthusiasts from which I have learned tons of stuff. Colombia is an amazing place, there I have traveled from the desert areas on the north to the rainforest in the south and also to the pacific region. I have visited many interesting places with the help of incredible people and landowners that are eager to help discover the true diversity of our country.
